Behind the camera.
More than two decades working with images — first behind the scenes, then behind the lens.
Photography with a picture-desk instinct.
I started in image management and picture-desk work before stepping behind the camera with the Digipix photo agency. That time taught me how photographs are selected, used and published — experience that still influences every job I cover.
I later went out on my own and continue to work in close association with my father, photographer Brian Lougheed.
My work covers press, PR, corporate, event and business photography, along with video for events and promotional use. I'm based in Cork and work on assignments throughout Ireland.
Outside photography, I've also spent more than 26 years DJing and 16 years hosting live quizzes, which probably explains why I'm very comfortable in busy rooms full of people.
